My Favorite Quote of the Show:
It's our secret sauce that we've been using as a differentiator always. So that's what now is op- in open that we can actually help enterprise adapt that at a very different level. As a part of these three products, it, that layer comes automatically, and we are able to help. Comment by Iyengar on Publicis Sapient’s Sustain.
What’s it all about? My Take
I’m having a hard time selecting the takeaway from this technical discussion.
My top options are send it or secret sauce.
So, for send it, Iyengar noted “it’s an evolving process”. I jump right on that to say that this is great for the listeners to know that it doesn’t have to be perfect to put it out there. Ok, MVP has long-been a strategy but with AI, Agentic AI we are revisiting when to just well, send it.
For secret sauce, it reminds us to identify what is our secret sauce. If you think you do not have one, your are wrong. Your secret sauce is what makes you, you. I have quite a few secret sauces: for one, I can cosplay as Stevie Nicks and lip synch One Wing Dove to perfection (great party trick). But seriously, in business, my secret sauce is having no fear of rejection. Doesn’t mean it feels good but it won’t stop me from trying or hey, sending it!
3 Big Insights
"Send it" beats "perfect it," even at enterprise scale
The old MVP playbook assumed you had time to be right before you shipped. That window is gone. The bigger idea here: size used to buy you the right to be cautious. Now size is a liability if you move too slow, and even a thirty-year-old company has to release before it's fully sure. You can't sell a transformation you haven't survived yourself
Any company can pitch AI transformation. We learned that sometimes you have to be your own customer.Green metrics can still mean a broken business
Every team can hit its SLA and still have an unsatisfied customer. The conversation pulled the curtain back to identify where issues hide. KPIs alone are never, ever enough.

The Highlights
The tech that powers business:
Agentic commerce is already exposing pricing gaps. A stale promo price led to an order placed and then canceled by email, the exact failure mode Sapient Sustain is built to catch before it reaches the customer.
Joe & The Juice partnered with Sapient Sustain to scale support without scaling headcount. Eight months in, roughly 30% of tickets are resolved by AI alone, 40% are AI first with a human check, and the target is 75-85% AI within the year.
A major automotive client was losing leads to a silent front-end and back-end mismatch, vehicle inquiries that never reached the dealer. Sapient Sustain identified the breakdown and flagged the fix, recovering revenue that was falling through the cracks.
Publicis Sapient became its own client first, folding thirty years of delivery knowledge into an internal context layer before packaging it as Sustain, a self-testing move most competitors haven't attempted.
